Plant on blue tinted mixed media paper Neocolor II: Orange + Purple, plus neutrals

A painting made with Neocolor II water-soluble pastels. A pink flower with many petals and bright yellow orange stamens blooms at the end of a slender deep green stem. On that stem are several long pointed leaves. Another shorter stem with a bright pink bud that’s just starting to open is to the right of the first flower.
