Irregular circular grid exploration in Burnt Umber, Payne’s Grey, and Robin’s Egg (gouache).

A watercolour painting of a circular grid. The grid lines, both radial and circular, are irregularly spaced. The grid is painted with a checkerboard pattern. Half the sections are left unpainted, while the painted sections are each have two colors that have been allowed to blend & bleed together. Three colors were used in the painting: a dark grey, a brown, and a turquoise.
